This
site has two principal objectives. One to provide information about the
Royal Berkshire Regiment in WW1 and the other to provide information about the
history of the Parish of Purley on Thames in Berkshire. The Parish Council now
maintains a more general site on Purley (go to PurleyonThames.net) There are
other sections related to myself and some of my other interests. One
section is devoted to Project Purley, the Local History Society for Purley
on Thames.
Building
and maintaining a web site is a never-ending task, so please forgive the
fact that some of the tables are not always in place or up to date. Please
e-mail me if there is a page missing which is of particular interest to
you.
