Private and Family Memorials
Many churches and other places hold family memorials to men who served. They take many different forms:-
A memorial to record a man's death in war time
A memorial erected after the man's death recording his military achievements
A memorial recording several members of the family, some of whom served.
An inscription upon a family grave remembering a man who died in service.
A monument erected in a public place commemorating a family member
